As a Senior UX/UI Designer at HYBRID, you will play a pivotal role in shaping user-centric digital experiences across a diverse range of client projects. With a strong focus on both user interface and user experience design, you will lead the design process from ideation through to execution, ensuring that all designs not only meet high aesthetic standards but also enhance usability and functionality.
You will leverage your extensive experience to set design strategies, mentor junior designers, and contribute significantly to the evolution of our design frameworks and processes, ensuring scalability and consistency across all projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web and mobile applications, from conceptualization to delivery.
- Collaborate closely with clients to understand their business objectives and design solutions that align with their goals.
- Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback to help them grow their skills and contributions to the team.
- Conduct user research and testing to gather insights and refine design approaches based on user feedback.
- Develop and refine user personas, user journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Ensure design consistency and coherence across all client projects by adhering to and evolving existing design systems.
- Work cross-functionally with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure designs are feasible and implemented accurately.
Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in UX/UI design, with a portfolio that demonstrates a deep understanding of user-centered design principles and a passion for digital aesthetics.
- Expertise in design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar.
- A solid understanding of user-centered design and testing methodologies, subsystems, and usability and accessibility concerns.
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate and optimize design based on the needs of the client and technical issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Fluency in English, with proficiency in additional languages being a plus.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and eager to develop new skills.
