As a WordPress Developer at HYBRID, you’ll develop custom themes, plugins, and integrate APIs to deliver high-quality websites and web applications that are both functional and aesthetically appealing.
You will work closely with our design and marketing teams to optimize projects for performance, SEO, and user experience, ensuring the timely delivery of web solutions that exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities
- Develop features and functionalities for WordPress sites, ensuring responsive and effective architecture.
- Maintain and enhance custom WordPress themes and plugins for functionality and aesthetics.
- Conduct performance tests, analyze issues, and improve user engagement and conversion.
- Collaborate with design teams for cohesive visual execution across projects.
- Provide technical support, guiding team members and clients through solutions.
- Keep updated with latest web technologies and apply best coding practices.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in WordPress development with a strong portfolio.
- Proficient in PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development.
- Skilled in managing RESTful APIs, JSON, XML.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
